Twin Cities Decorative Artists Guild
About TCDAG
c
A small group of women met in the summer of 1981 to explore the formation of TCDAG.
Affiliation was granted at the April, 1982 National Convention.   Forty-eight members are
recognized as charter members of TCDAG.

We are an active group of artists, beginner to advanced, who enjoy decorative painting!
Mediums used range from acrylic, watercolor, oil, colored pencils and mixed media/altered
art.

Our monthly meetings usually end with a "paint-in".  Each month a member teaches a class.
It's a great way to try a new medium, technique, or surface.
We Also Offer -
  • Getaway.  A weekend of painting, painting, painting.
  • National Teacher Seminars
  • Community Service Projects.  Painted bereavement  boxes
donated to area hospitals, and painted kids boxes donated to
    the Shriners hospital.
TCDAG is an affiliate of the Society of Decorative Painters (SDP), a.k.a., the National Society of
Tole and Decorative Painters, Inc.

SDP has chapters throughout the United States and countries throughout the world.
Held the 2nd Saturday of each month at Valley
Presbyterian Church.  3100 N. Lilac Drive, Golden
Valley.  General meeting begins at 9:30 a.m.
